Observing
One of the many things I love about Audrey is the way she quietly observes everything around her. This picture was taken in the Sunday School classroom before the Easter Egg hunt. She was very quiet, but took it all in. Some of the kids tend to try to run her over because they think that she will just take it. That is another of the things I love - she will defend herself!

Updates
Another neglected blog. Audrey is 17 months old today and I have a little over 4 weeks until Benjamin makes his arrival. Time has flown by. I have been very busy raising a toddler, working on a master's degree, renovating a house, teaching at the police academy, preparing for another baby, organizing a new home business venture. Call me crazy. I am really not one of those people that like to brag about being busy. I like to relax and play in the yard with Audrey. I just always seem to take on a lot at one time. Maybe I like the pressure, maybe I just like to complain that I have too much to do. Either way, there are my reasons for neglecting this blog and hopefully, I will post more often now.

"Dog"
This dog showed up in my backyard one day. I put him back out several times and so did Jamie. He kept finding a way back in. I listed him on Craigslist hoping the owner would see it. The first couple of nights I made him stay outside.
But then it got cold so he came inside. Next thing I know he is sleeping in my bed with me. The other dogs loved him. I broke down and gave him a bath and was getting ready to call him "Bandit" cause "Dog" was a little too generic. I became attached to him and gave up that I would find the owner.
Jamie and I ordered pizza. The delivery guy got there and Jamie asked him if he wanteda dog. He looked down and said, "Come here, Bandit". Dog ran to him. He told us it was his brother's dog and had been missing about a month. Dog went home. I miss him.
